backside of Elk Lake. all ups & downs on the trail, no flat. wide path turning into narrow single tracks, rough & muddy. I think trail at one time went all around the lake. not maintained after 3 miles so came back same way. beyond sign trail looked to be overgrown & probably not passable. hard trail but very cool.
