Kept things nice and easy today but ran the middle 4 miles in the hills. 8:24 /7:47 /7:49 /7:34 /7:53 /7:48 /3:37[8:38]
Feeling some continued "irritation" at L knee and feels like under patella and along patellar tendon areas. Felt it at miles 3-4 then nothing on last couple miles.
Need to be careful the next week prior to Alton race to get to the line in good shape. Will continue my icing/other maintenance work until then. Body has been telling me it is time for a break. Going to try to squeeze the Alton race out then heed the warning.... Hopefully, my body will play along with my plan.
