First run post-Flying Eagle. Legs were feeling OK so thought I was good to go; wrong. Even though kept the first 2 miles north of 8:00 pace started to feel legs tighten up around mile 3.0 into run.
Plan was to do an easy drill set, run 4 miles easy and finish with 3-4 progressive striders. Did the workout but legs really tight afterwards. Tomorrow will be another day off then try again on Thursday.
Easy drill set while warming up/stretching then 4.05 miles in 33:00. Another easy drill set prior to striders.
Striders of :30s = .09 mile at 5:18 pace/ :34s = .11 mile at 5:06 pace/ :51s = .18 mile at 4:51 pace.
