Decide to run the first 8+ miles of the City of Roses HM course so Bram, JJ and I head over to the starting point at HealthPoint Plaza. Essentially strike gold by finding 26 cents in the first 1/2 mile; dont find any additional coinage the rest of the run.
.77 miles to starting line from Arena Park then right into the course.
8.42 miles in 1:03:42 with 1.5-2.0 min stops at 3.17 miles and 5.75 miles.
Splits of 7:36/ 7:31/ 7:24/ 7:38/ 7:29/ 7:22/ 7:46/ 7:41/ 3:15(7:47)
Didn't really want to run 13.54 miles today but.... good to check out the course. We'll see how my body reacts to my first harder week back. Still having some issues but not enough to shut myself down at this point and possibly just the way it will be from now on.
