Long intervals this morning. Had an idea it would be ugly and uneven. It was.
2.50 miles warm-up with striders and stretching.
Three x 1 mile with 3 min recovery
1st mile: 6:05 then three min walk/jog
2nd mile: 5:55 then "" ""
3rd mile: 6:13 then 30 second walk and finished with 2.35 mile cooldown in 20:13.
Wasn't sure of pace on first interval. Second interval felt good. Third interval difficult from the beginning. Endurance not even close to being in the ballpark yet. Probably need another 5-6 weeks but it is coming back.
