Notes

Decided to get my "real" workout in early tonight then cruise through the 400 to lessen risk of any pulls/strains. Some young college guy who has been helping with Parks and Rec practices named Seth jumped in tonight. He ran a 54 sec and left everyone in the dust.

The young guy who won the 200 race (his last name is LeGrand) was second with a 60 sec time. Hinkle was third with 1:03.5 and I was fourth. Dr Mitch was 5th with a 1:20. I think Hink was happy to finish where he did. I congratulated everyone then ran my cooldown.

I did what I wanted tonight by starting off easy then hitting the third 100 hard before cruising in the last 100 to keep from pulling anything. Actually surprised at the 65.1 second time considering what I did for the previous hour to my legs and my race strategy. May be able to run a 60 flat.... but won't be attempting that feat anytime soon. I will see if the 5K plan I have penciled out can be completed. If I can do the workouts it should lead to a respectable time in upcoming 5Ks.
