Easy run of approx one hour with Bram. Last long run prior to his HM and my 5K effort next Sunday. Feet feeling the effects of yesterday's 4K race with spikes. I don't particularly care for spikes but there would have been no way I could have completed the race yesterday without them.
3.54 miles in 29:32 along the 5K route then drills and 2 striders.
3.87 miles in 33:02 along the arena park area and the osage trail. Plenty of people out running again this morning.
Lift session, windmill exercises after completing my usual sunday mowing session with the highest placer of any of the SE Missouri teams at the Forest Park XC mudfest yesterday. No one stopped us to ask for his autograph. I told him not to get too jacked up until he brings home the gold later this Fall. He said he would do his best to comply. That's the right mindset.
