Interval workout. Decided to test out the hamstring a little.
2.50 mile warm-up in 18:19 then stretch, drills and 4 striders. Also jogged after recoveries prior to beginning next interval sets. Approx .40 mile on striders and jogging between sets.
Intervals:
.50 mile in 2:48 then .25 mile jog in 1:43. One min recovery to stretch, catch breath.
.75 mile in 4:20 then .25 mile jog in 2:07. Approx one min recovery to get shit together.
.41 mile in 2:13 then .42 mile jog back to start point in 3:20. One in recovery then jog to start.
.50 mile in 2:50 then 1.50 mile jog to finish workout.
Walk one half mile home and stretch while drinking my chocolate milk. Beautiful day to run in Scott City; not a single other person running/walking that I could see.
