Notes

Went to the Hoops for Life Race II this morning. What a great event for a fantastic cause. Over 500 runners/walkers despite the heat. Awesome atmosphere and talked to alot of people, all of who were enjoying themselves. Good to talk with the STL guys this morning. They both drove down to support Shannon's cause. Nice gesture. Kelpe destroyed the course record today. It will take a very elite HS runner or seasoned college runner to lower that time by any significant amount. He looked good coming in so I'm sure he could have pushed more if would have needed to. That dude can flat out fly -- anything from 5K to 100 mile runs.

Jacked up when I got home so lifted prior to my scheduled swim.

Not a single person in the Aquatic Center when I got there at 1:20. Very surprising.

Workout:

50m x 5; 15-20 seconds between intervals

100m x 5; 50-55 seconds between intervals

Used the last two intervals to practice using my hands through the complete range in the water to increase the overall efficiency of each stroke. Could tell a difference and think I have found another key.
