Doing a tempo session of 20 min x 2 with 5 min recovery jog between each.
Running most of the session on grass. Begin with a large loop at Arena Park then up the Osage trail north on the grass to the Osage Center for 3 loops of the hill.
1st 20 minutes mostly into the wind = 3.16 miles for 6:20 ave pace; Splits of 6:16/6:30/6:19/5:51 pace for last .16 miles.
5 min recovery jog = .60 miles
2nd 20 minutes = 3.19 miles for 6:17 ave pace; Splits of 6:13/6:21/6:15/6:19 for .19 miles.
Cooldown jog of 14 minutes. Legs wasted but didn't total up the miles until after the session over. Another 14+ Sunday in the books. Rewarded myself with 2 cinammon rolls.
