Total of 1.5 easy warm-up then 6-7 striders prior to St. Judes Half Marathon. Brisk 31 degrees at start of race today. However, negligible wind so that is a definite plus. Low of 28 degrees Friday night in Memphis. Huge crowd. Talked to Baillie and Herrin prior to start of race. Got to start in the first wave with the elite runners as we were looking for 6:30 ave pace. Cool atmosphere in the elite stratosphere. I was thinking about the millions of miles these 50-55 guys/girls had run in their careers.
