Warmup for Forest Park 4K XC race. Course soaking wet as it rained all night long. Flat stretches leading from starting point and last .15 miles to finish covered with water. Looks like about 100 runners. Mix of younsters and master's runners. Recognize Dr. Rosati, and runner who won Festival of Miles in 2009 from O'Fallon, Ill. He is fast as noted by a 4:48 mile in this year's Festival of Miles. He is also 50 years old. Billy Leighton running and I do part of my warmup with him. He says he is ready to go.
