My right knee started hurting around mile 6 and progressively got worse as the race went on. By mile 10 my hip, knee, ankle and foot were all hurting.
I believe it was a combonation of two things: 1) running on the right side of the road for the majority of the race and 2) all the hills (and Carole absolutely charged up the hills!).
A week later, I feel fine and ready to run again.
The race gave me a ton of confidence to do it again next year. In fact, Joe and I are planning on running the Chicago full marathon in Oct. '07!
