It was very hot. 10,000 people did not finish, over 300 went to the hospital, they cancelled the race after about 3 1/2 hours and one person died.
At 13 miles, Joe and I were on pace for a sub-4 hour marathon, but heat got to me. By mile 16 I was dehydrated and started longer walk breaks.
All in all, I'm glad we did it. I don't know that we will ever train for a full marathon again.
