Workout: 8 x 800 @ AP (2:50-55)/90 sec rest + 2 x 200 @ 800-1500/200 jog

Overall the goal with the workout was to just aim for mid 2:50s and work down if it happen but I just wanted to accumlate time at sub 6 pace and run at the AP effort that is Daniels suggestion based off the last TT. After bombing a couple weeks ago I tried to be patient and just work. The first one felt better then I expected given the warmup and I started feeling more comfortable after the first two. Going into the workout I expected 6 or 7 to be solid then to run some 200s. I hit the 2:49 on the 5th one and I intentionally backed it down over the next couple because I wanted to be smooth. After 7 figured lets go for 8 and hit the 400 around 85 and from there finished strong but in control to finish with my best one. The 200s felt pretty smooth as well which i was happy with.

One of the best AP workouts in a long time. Similar paces to this past fall but more overall volume today.
