Notes

Another 2k time trial at the park. I really was hoping for sub 6:50 but I knew that could be a stretch given how some of the short reps have felt. Plan was not to look at the pace until 1k and not overthink. Just run not stressing about form or anything. Got to 1k around 3:26ish which I felt good about. Over the next 200 I was relaxed but tried to start picking it back up around 600 to go as I know I slowed a little after the first 600. Coming to the mile I had to dodge another runner so that slowed me off my rythem a little bit but also distracted me from my pain. Over the last 400 I thought I kicked it in pretty good and would be closer to 75 but oh well. Overall I am pleased with it. 15 seconds faster then the last one with not any crazy workouts or anything. I feel strong so the 10k in a few weeks should be equal to the performance if not a little bit quicker maybe even though I know some tough hills in the course.
