Ground conditions were horrible ... 90% of the race was pure ice or ice covered. Was a struggle just to keep footing and not fall down. Saw at least one "lead" runner wipe out entirely. Almost impossible to get any traction or exercise any speed. Placements were very good, so obviously it wasn't just me having a tough sledding (yuk yuk).
So, all things considered, I think I did fine under the conditions. Time aside, was another fun race and a nice way to close out the 2007 season.
