Race started well, but couldn't hold pace after 4 miles. I think it was mostly mental toughness + an 80 mile training week. Not thrilled; but not slitting my wrists either.
On the plus side, new PR. Plus, on an equivalency basis, this was better performance than the Distance Classic. Daniels puts me at a 47.7 VDOT (compared to 47.4 for CDC) and a 3:18 marathon; McMillan is at 3:22.
