Notes
1.5 hours prior to the run: oatmeal (1/2 cup + 1/2 cup milk), 2 cups coffee, 32 oz. water.
Wore black lulus, wicking shirt, body glide.
Held back the first 5 miles, then let it groove. Felt so strong at mile 7, but at mile 9 things got dicey. Every time I had to stop at an intersection, I got so dizzy. Hunger? Dehydration? Exhaustion? No idea.
I fought it and kept running, even though I wanted to stop. I had hoped to make mile 9 my fastest, and I did run tempo pace for some of it, although the last half mile was simply survival mode. Very happy with this, though! Soaked in epsom salts when I got home, so I hope I can feel fresh for running tomorrow.
