Laid carpet in Omaha and it was a two day job so our family decided to make it a little vacation by booking a little air bnb just southeast of Omaha out on an acreage. Bruh, hillier than all get out. Found a sign that said “rock ends” so I had to take that. Got two and a half miles out and climbed a big hill to see where I was at. Stopped for a second to see if I could do a loop (all cuz Joe has been heckling me on strava), and I decided to risk it. Got a super bad nose bleed 3.5 miles in that lasted until about 4.75. It was dripping all over me was draining into my throat to where my mouth would fill up and I would spit every 20 seconds. That road was covered in blood. My mustache covered up most of my upper lip so when I would meet people in a car/truck or gator, they would look as if I had just murdered a litter of kittens and then ate them. My lips and hands were covered in blood and I don’t think they wanted to stop to see if I was alright. I frankly don’t blame them. Anyways, lots of elevation on this run. Probably climbed more feet than every single run combined this summer.
