Rainier was stunningly beautiful this morning. The morning was clear in the morning light before the sun came up, and there was a thick layer of fog intermixed among the trees beneath the mountain. Breathtaking.
I was frozen for the first mile in a LS shirt and capri tights. I would think that would be warm enough in 48 degree weather, but apparently not, especially with the sun not up yet.
