Early morning intervals. Discouragingly slow, but I can't be too mad at myself for getting up early and giving it a go.
2x1200m, 1 x 800m on waterline trail.
1200m (7:39 mpm), 1200m (7:47 mpm), 800m (6:38 mpm)
The workout called for 3000 - 5000m pace, but I just can't seem to motivate myself to run hard enough to hit 5K race pace, even for 1200m, without actual raceday adrenaline. 37 degrees doesn't help. Also, knowing I have to run up the hill to get back home does not help. That hill is brutal after a hard run.
