I'm still not fully time adjusted so I keep running in the afternoon heat instead of the morning cool. Today a storm just blew through so it was hot and humid on this run but I just couldn't hol myself back and ran faster than I probably should have. I didn't even hit 60 miles for the week which hasn't happened in a while. My shins feel great and recovered, I had a bit of nagging knee paiin earlier in the week that is feeling fine now and my calves stopped screaming at me. One more week of easy recoveries coming up before the real training begins, I should be fully recovered by then.
