Wow, should have known this would be eventful when I stepped out of our cabin and a polecat welcomed me to my run. Oh well, got by this little guy and onto our Inn's road. Got up the first of many hills and there are 4 deer literally 5-6 feet from me. What the hell are these things going to do - don't want to frolick with these animals.... they took off. This run was through some rugged rolling hills and through some beautiful country including an orchard and a huge cow farm. When I finished a local cow decided he wanted to say hi and proceeded to lick the sweat off my arm (those things have some nasty feeling tongues, jut saying).
