Notes

Went for it and found the wall at 19 - hello. Cramps really bad. Oh well, had to try and give it all I had. Found my legs again at 24, too late. Pretty pissed, when's the next race... Great race tho, awesome post-race party and awesome company. Learned a VALUABLE lesson and totally respect this distance. Thanks to all for the support, ready for the next training cycle - this isn't where I want to be!

The marathon is a tough one but you gutted it out. Lots to learn from but you've got great days ahead of you. Congrats on the accomplishment.

Amazed that you even got it going again for the last 2 miles. Great effort. If it makes you feel any better, my first marathon came to a screeching halt at about the same point.

Thanks guys - looking forward to more beatings...

Great job, you are going to be a fantastic runner. See you in Chicago.

Hey Mike welcome to the club! Nothing like running one to teach what you Wouod do different next time, Someday I may figure it out! Gat effort holding on and bouncing back on the final miles. That takes fortitude!

I know you're not happy with the time but the result is the same. You set out to run a marathon and this time you did it. You trained very hard and were committed throughout a challenging training winter season. There's something to be said about training through the hot summer and running a cool fall marathon. Your body knows what it's like to run that far now and you are geared up for big things. The sky is the limit.
