Wow, what a awesome trail and run.... trail runs next to Maury river and follows old canal route. Wish I had more time. Highlights of the amble:
- ran next to cows as the trails shares access with 2 farms- yikes
- stone cliffs and bridges boarder the trail
- countless birds singing
- many deer, rabbits
- finished the run around the VMI track
Sweet morning... of t if shape, but a blast. The wet and lose sand on the trail did make this harder than it should have been.
