I was supposed to run 12 at MP. In the end, I ran about 9 at MP before I could no longer hold the pace. Perhaps this was a fueling issue. More likely, I was just tired. I ate one Gu around mile 7 and drank three nathan bottles of gatorade. This was the first time in ages I was able to hold a sub-8 min pace for more than a couple miles. I feel good about that. I still haven't determined my GMP, but I am hoping it is closer to 7:30 than 8:00. We will see. As my endurance improves, I seem to be able to hold a fast pace longer.

I almost forgot the weather. This was a warm, humid day. I don't have the exact statistics, but I am pretty sure that slowed me down a bit and contributed to my falling apart at the end. It looks like it was about 71 with 69 dp when I started running. Temps only went up from there.
