WORST RUN I HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME!!!!! The plan was to run the cross country course as tempo. I ran a 2 mile warm up and I felt ok. Ran the first mile in 6:16 and it felt easy. Second mile was 6:08 still felt easy but my stomach was starting to feel funny. Ran mile 3 in 6:21 uphill and by this time my stomach was really hurting. Mile 4 was 6:11 down hill with my butt cheeks clinched tightly, so the last quarter of a mile looked like a mixture of a racewalker and a duck. Decided to call it quits at 4 cause there was no way I was going to finish without pooping all over myself. After I got done handling my business I ran a 3 mile cooldown. During the cool down I felt really really bad. I felt sick and weak. My cool down was around 8:00 pace and it took everything I had to make it back to the track. I think I need to fix my diet. I really dont think I am eating enough. I also have had a lot of trouble sleeping this week and have been exhausted. Ran most of the run with Jarrod.
Things I need to start working on more: streching, strides, diet, sleep and core work.
