Notes

The journey today started with Park and I taking on the Elvis Duck in hopes of running 10 miles of it and see what it holds. That plan didn't hold up because Park apparently had 4 hours of sleep, so he separated at mile 4 (and is probably gonna double later). Before he left, he said that he's gonna run alone in hopes of being able to focus better? I don't completely understand, but oh well, I guess I'll be seeing Parkipoo in a few weeks from now (minus the official practices). Can't help but feel like this is a breakup *sniff* time to blast "We Are Never Getting Back Together" By Taylor Swift. The rest of the run, I just focused on finishing These 10 miles because I didn't really want another failed long run. And I felt surprisingly... powerful? Not really in the Thanos kind of way, but I kept on pumping out miles at a pretty fast pace, and I didn't feel tired at all. It was really weird, my legs felt in peak condition (maybe I should have shot for the full Duck Today). I ended up finishing the run SUPEr wet because it ended up downpouring during the last two miles, though my yellow raincoat may have helped a little bit. Now that I think about it, today would have been the perfect time to pretend to water bend like that one person... oh well maybe next time.
