Ran with Parkipoo today, we had a pretty devoted conversation about human technological advancements in both our lifetime and in many possible lifetimes. Also talked about aliens and the universe which was also pretty interesting lol... I think I'm just starved from real social interactions, but this was pretty nice. I think this all started because I went down a youtube rabbit hole and found this pretty cool documentary/VFX type series that was really interesting to think about. It's called "Life Beyond" and it has two parts right now. I've just linked it if you're interested (NOT A RICKROLL), even though the first video was really cool, I was way more fascinated by the second video that talked about the different possibilities that alien life could be made biologically. One example was instead of a carbon-based organism there could be a possibility of a silicon-based one instead. Obviously, I didn't take the information too seriously, but it's still interesting to think about hypothetically. Also, the idea of a planet (other than ours) that has purple plants seems like a dream (better explained in the video). Anyway, if I were to specialize in some sort of bio/astrophysics thing I think I'd be most interested in things the second video talked about.
