Day 61 of distant running: Today's run was pretty ~Immaculate~, though, at the start of the run, we totally got bamboozled by Jacob. We ended up waiting for him to drive over to the school by playing rock soccer near the gates of the track, but Jacob never came. Since Jacob was being a lil stubborn, Park and I decided to go on a fast quest to reach Jacob's house... so Park turned on some rock music from his phone, and we sped off. I was getting a whole lot of main character vibes strictly because the main characters in movies usually get background music, which plays out of nowhere when they're about to achieve greatness. As Park and I were zooming to Jacob at 6:00 minute pace, we saw Boehmke, and his presence really boosted us. We reached Jacob and were luckily able to get him out of the house, and then continued the rest of the run at a reasonable pace. AALLSSoooo we wanted to say hi to Yab from his doorstep since we were already rather close to his house, but he must've been asleep. While we were waiting, we saw an amazing cat, which we dubbed Julius (After the orange sherbert Julius because he was orange). Best cat in the CU.
Update: My hip flexor didn't hurt today which was actually pretty surprising, but my ankle still hurts a bit. I'm going to have to ice it again...
