New Jersey Marathon predictor race. Based on this race, I'm probably still short of a BQ, though the gap is closing. This race is hilly, and today it was in a steady snowfall. Made for some slippery, slushy roads, and frozen feet. I was hoping to PR today (1:34:29) and proceeded to knock the fuckin' cover off the ball. I probably could have squeezed a little bit more out of this race but dialed the first four miles back a bit for the hilly middle miles. 1:31 PR on a tough course and in the snow. This was also a six minute course PR (third time doing this race). Structured marathon training plus running lots of hills is working. I can't wait to run a HM in better conditions and on a faster course. 1:30, I'm knocking on your door.
