Notes
My goal was 3:05 and finished in 3:15, but a good run all things considered. It was 63 degrees at the start and only got warmer and more humid from there. I was doing ok for the first 16 miles, but things got away from me a little once I hit the Newtown Hills miles 16-21 and the sun came out. Once I got through the hills, I was in survival mode and just trying to hold it together. The first 7-8 miles of downhill beat my legs up more than I expected and it caught up to me late in the race. Still a BQ -4:25 and I am happy with that. I'll be back next year for my second Boston. This race is as amazing as everybody says it is.
