Well today was the first day of training. That's right, I'm back at it again and training for another marathon. I'm deferred for the Wineglass next year but in the meantime I will be training and getting ready for the Pittsburg Marathon on May 5th and looking to also run my very first Triathlon in July, The Mussel Man Half Ironman. I know, I know I never said I would get into triathlons but it seems like the next big challenge and the cross training needed for such an event could significantly improve my marathon as well. Goal for Pittsburg is the same as Wineglass, get under 3 hours. As far as the half ironman, just don't drown, don't fall off the bike, then enjoy a nice half marathon. Today's run was really simple, I know I can run longer and even today felt like going for 4 miles but I know I've been out of running for awhile now and need to ease back in to not hurt myself. Today was a starting point, lets see where it leads.
