Notes
I can't recall a more scenic run, brilliant sunshine to start with after a short storm passing through. Sun beginning to set over the hill as I climb up it, cresting over the hill the full sunset hits over a field. Fog starting to rise out from the blades of grass, deer foraging and bounding back into the forest when I passed by. The golden sky turning a crimson red and deep purple and fading fast as I came down from the hillside. Eerie fog rising from the road and field as I came to another field, a ghostly feeling to the solitude and serenity. Neighbors, sitting on their porch, watching me return from the run a little over an hour later. Tossing aside my empty water bottle on the final mile and picking up the pace to finish strong. Barely a feeling of exhaustion as I sit here writing this log entry, as if it was effortless.
