Felt really good out on the run today. First mile was a 8:02 to loosen up my feet and legs then I came back in 7:47. I sped up to a 7:21 on the third mile and finished uphill with a 7:26. I think if I do a few pre-run foot exercises it won't take the first mile to be loosened up and ready to go out at race pace. I'll have to experiment with a few from my "Barefoot Running" book before I head out there tomorrow for 14 miles.
