Blistering fast pace outside today! I couldn't ask for a better three days of training this week. Each day has exceeded my expectations and felt normal in terms of effort on the run. Right now I plan on keeping the same goals for this upcoming race. I plan to be in shape to run a 8:34 average pace for 50 miles. I believe I'm definitely at a good place fitness wise. After estimating rest time at each aid station I know I need to run closer to this pace during the race to compensate for resting and have a real chance at winning this race.
