Wow, was it ever windy (15-20mph winds) but I had my best run ever and my longest run to date. I ran 4 mins, walk 1 min x12 and my run intervals were around a 9:50 to 10:20 pace while keeping RPE between 6-7. I felt just as good if not better at mile 5 as I did at mile 1. I'm a huge fan of the Jeff Galloway run/walk method and use it on all my long runs.
I wore capri tights, long/sleeve tech tee, hat, sunglasses and was very comfortable.
