Notes
The first 4 miles went extremely great (splits were 10:15, 10:19, 11:10 and 11:40). But after 4 miles, a blister on the ball of my right foot had formed and every step after that felt like I was stepping on a nail. My splits for mile 5 and 6, 12:45 and 13:03. But I'm very happy with this time, mainly because I thought I had four 6+ mile runs but after looking at my log, make that just 2! A 7 miler on 2/7 and a 10km run on 2/21 and eight 5 to 5.5 mile runs so no wonder things got really hard when I hit mile 5. Oh that dreaded E. Broad St hill right before the finish...it took a lot out of me to just walk up it. So much, I couldn't even sprint to the finish line. But being my first 10K, automatic PR! Oh and it was extremely nice to meet other DailyMilers after the race!
