Workout #1 of the day. I did the "fartlek" workout that some of the people at the Lost Dog fun run did last night. I wasn't ready for it then, was still feeling quite sore from soccer. The pace for the pickups said "threshold" which is basically MP, so that's what I aimed for, with the exception of the last one, when I went 5k effort. I programmed the workout into the Garmin but accidentally put an extra 2:00 recovery in late the in workout. That just meant I ran an extra 1:00 pickup. While cooling down I did some form drills. The interesting thing about that was once I started jogging home my form seemed better. These Meb form drills really do seem to work.
