Plan was 20-22 min tempo.
Literally cussed myself after stopping at 10:44. Yeah, I didn't feel great before the workout, yeah it was warm, yeah the hills took a little out of the around the mile mark. Yeah, it's allergy season... But come on!
Rested for a min or so, then turned around and broke the trip back into two sections.
It wasn't what I wanted, but it's what I had.
I'm kinda glad I had a bad workout right out of the gate. I really felt good coming off the 10k, and this was a gut check that I can't coast right back to the next goal. I have to continue to work for it.
