Wow, this was horrible. The warmup wasnt great, so I wasnt optimistic about this. But after the warmup I was stretching and doing some butt kicks and stuff, and I realized that 6:35 is ~45s slower than my 5k pace, so I felt good when I started.

After the first 2mins, I felt fine, but around 3 mins I started to feel pretty bad, like I was running all out.

It was another rough non-running day leading up to this. Got to bed too late, due to True Detective, which is my fault. Woke up at 5am and Sam threw up in his bed. Never went back to sleep. Sam threw up twice again (on me) right before nap time, so I am paranoid about getting the puke bug.

I know the weather adjustment will take some time, but only being able to run 1 mile at 6:35, and have that mile feel really bad really sucks.

The cooldown was pretty back too. I actually stopped after 1.76, so I didnt even run 2 miles at 8 min pace without stopping.

I might have to call coach about this and see what he thinks for the next couple of days.
