Notes

1 warmup, 7 @7:15 pace

I was actually kind of worried about this run, since it was the first one with a prescribed pace, and I don't think I am great at locking in. I usually slightly progress through most runs.

Warmup was easy, then did a few stretches and drills while I waited for Brett to show up, since he came from another direction today.

After the first mile was a little fast, we kept talking about easing up, but the 2nd mile was mostly downhill. I feel like we did, but the time doesn't show it. We also figured the uphills on the way back would "slow us down" but we felt comfortable/smooth. We split back up right at 6, so the last mile was solo. I really just wanted to stay smooth/steady on the rolling hills back to the office, and I didn't check the watch until I was about .2 from the end, and I was surprised it was that fast. This is really a nice route, easy to get rolling.

Felt good. I am actually kinda shocked it went this well. I had a little lower back stiffness and some lingering tiredness from the hill sprints, but once I was running I felt fine.

On a side note: I can tell I am back to training. I am constantly hungry and really tired at 8:30 or so every night for the past couple of days. I need to stop eating all the candy at work and get back to some bananas and apples. I am sleeping pretty solid too.
