Notes
Didn't feel like I would "have it" today, but I had a easy warmup and 2x200 and felt good.
The first 600 wasn't bad, but it was into the wind, and I wasn't ready for it. I felt a little more relaxed on the 2nd. The 3rd 600 was the worst, by time and feel. The wind picked up after rounding a corner and sucked the life out of me. I took a little extra on the recovery and tried to run the 4th without looking at my watch...so of course I ran too far.
The first 400 was into the wind, as well, but it was shorter, thus a little easier. I kept my recovery all the way back up to the base of the hill so I could try to avoid the headwind on my last 3. The 2nd 400 felt rough and I really had to dig deep for the 3rd 400, so I skipped the last one.
I'm sure this would have been a little easier on the track, just less variables to deal with, but since I don't have a track in my neighborhood, I had to make due.
