8 miles with 4x30s strides and 6ish hill blasts
I guess I should have re-read the description before I went out. I could have saved myself 2 strides. It's fine though, it took me a little longer to get warmed-up in the cold wind.
Stopped and stretched and did a few drills (butt kicks, lunges, high knees, etc) before starting the sprints.
After the fourth I understood why Scott said 6ish. The last two strides of #5 felt a little weak, and the last few strides of #6 felt like I was missing some of the explosive power needed for 100% effort.
I had another dog incident on the cooldown, but I will type that up later. I'm not very happy with the dog situation lately.
