Felt ok, not great.
I could tell after the first mile the tempo wasn't going to be as easy as I thought. The legs were a little heavy, and I wasn't feeling fresh. It's not like it was all going bad, just not a fresh as I expected.
It didn't get any worse, actually miles 2 and 3 were relatively better. Mile was a little tough, climbing Belmont hill. Brett let Brett open up about a 10s lead on that hill. Once the hill was over, I actually felt good again pretty quickly.
I bet I could have done 2 more miles on the flats pretty easily. Who knows how I would feel after that.
