DMR with Massachusetts vs. California vs. Illinois.
Mass: Me, Tyler, Toby, Alex
Illinois: Schlick, Damien, Loots, Nunez
Cali: Morgan, Thomas, Anthony, Sweeny (subing for Chris who dropped out)
I was planning to just follow Schlick. He went out in 62 which was pretty tough, but then slowed way down in the middle. At one point I thought of taking the lead in the 4th lap, but it seemed better to not risk anything. He got a little bit of a gap on the last lap, but it wasn't more than a second and Tyler made it up and even got a bunch more time. Morgan totally fell off. Lucas made up the distance on Toby, but then Toby opened it up again at the end to get a few seconds. Nunez and Alex didn't go too fast, it too Nunez 3 or 4 laps to catch up too Alex, but Alex took him on the last lap. I didn't notice it, but apparently Anthony totally collapsed in the 800 (he had run the 600 before). Our time was 11:00.56 and Illinois was 11:02.47.
