Hard wind up the home stretch started right as the 5k began and didn't hold up; probably 15mph+, not quite as bad as last weeks 20's but near.
One of the hardest races I've run. A lot of passing from falling runners in the first mile boosted my pace and confidence, yet in the last mile I got passed by David Gray who I heard was sitting on me for the last 2 laps. As he passed I was falling but I made myself stick on him for as long as I could. stuck on him until the last 600 where he out kicked me because I had nothing left. Finishing against the wind was awful and just had to lean forward and drive my knees as fast as I could. I'M FINALLY UNDER 18!
It feels amazing to see my hard work for the last 2 years keep paying off.
