I set the goal this morning on the way to work that I'd beat my personal best distance of 7 miles when I got home. As the day progressed, I felt less inclined to keep that goal-- but I didn't want to let go of it. It was ROUGH out the gate. After mile 2 I was getting deflated quickly... but I kept pushing! Originally I set out to do 8, and brought it home with 9! I was slow as molasses, but I got it done... so I'll chalk it up as a victory!
