WednesDAILIES!! Lets do this! (Read 43 times)

6.1. Went to what I thought was a lighted track. I swear at one time it was. It's not any more. Oops. 15 minute warm up, 3 x .75 miles with 2 minute recoveries, 1 x .3 (was supposed to be another .75, but I hit the lap button instead of the light button), then 3 x 200. I felt speedy, not a lot of running going on there. I now see why people get road rage from tracks. Lots of walkers 2 or 4 abreast. More than 1 couple holding hands. Multiple cell phone users--either speaking to someone or texting, the texters could not keep it between the lines. Some interesting behavior for sure. I watched one young guy just walk onto the track, oblivious to the others on it, strolled down the stretch, took a selfie, then jogged maybe 2 laps and called it a night.

When I go at 6AM it's not so crowded.

Did you end up getting rid of the cat?

Yes, he is living happily at a friend's house. ☺ We have 2 dogs now, one of whom doesn't even bother to break out of a trot below 6:00/mi pace. The other one competes in the Clydesdale division.
